I'm delighted that my great blogging pal, Lori of everyone's favorite automatism, invited me to participate in her Snapshot: Summer series. Every Thursday from July until September, a fellow blogger shares one image that captures for them the essence of summer. Today it's my turn (yippee!) and I'm contributing this shot of the Pond in Central Park that I took during the High Holy Days of Summer 2008.
Visit automatism and check out the rest of Lori's beautiful Snapshot lineup. Thanks so much for including me, Lori.
Je t'adore.

This is one of my favorite places in the world. We live just a few blocks from there and we always feel positively transported when we go there. Your photo captures the magic and tranquility so well! Here are some photos taken of me and my family earlier this summer by the Pool...

And thank YOU for such a gorgeous contribution, Diana — and for your lovely kind words, too. So sweet.

This was my favorite image of Lori's series...in fact, I just mentioned that to her the other day! My husband and I got married at the Boathouse and your photo brings back such great memories. Beautiful:)
